I have been researching and studying technical analysis for 16 years now.
I trade using momentum and comparing momentum of various swings-up and down-to see on which side momentum is more.This is zero lag and totally market oriented rather than deciding some arbitrary level is a resistance or support.
I do not use momentum indicators because swings are of various sizes and indicators periods have to be constantly adjusted with the size of the swing.It is easier just to judge visually.
