Hi!!
I am new to this forum and trading as well. I am just going through information available on the net and www.moneycontrol.com to understand how to trade before I plunge so that I do not mess up with my hard earned money. I am willing to take calculated risks with my money. But the information available is huge and the jargon used in trading is very diverse and I find it very over whelming and difficult to assimilate. During survey I came across www.traderji.com and I hope to get a basic beginners guide here before I take the plunge.
I understand from my survey that the market is headed for a correction in the near future (which I presume means that the sensex as well as the stock prices will fall). So it is not a good time to invest for beginners and existing traders should book profits (which I again presume means one should sell stock so that losses are not incurred when the sensex falls).
Anyways.. Helpful suggestions and information from experts are welcome to enlighten me about investing in stocks. And is there any difference between investing and trading? I see both the words being used.
