Need some guidance for investing in STP

Hi,

I am new to Traderji.Com.

Need some guidance for investing in MF. I want to invest 3 Lack. What will be the best way to do that.
What i learnt after going through different forums,websites etc.. i should put this money in STP and then invest from there in different MF. I am planning to open an account with IndiaBulls...

Please guide what should be the best approach for the same. If someone can name a list of few funds to start with, that will be a great help.
