Hi guys,

i am new to this forum..warm regards to all the existing members.
I am regular trader in equities & options market....

I want to start commodities trading....Can anyone help me regarding below questions:

1. which account to go for...i have shortlisted ventura & sharekhan...plz provide me the brokerage structure of that ? & which is better

2. From which contract to start- i think goldguinnea required min margin..?

Plz provide ur valuable inputs

try Angel Broking. Good and user friendly. If you generate volumes you could get decent brokerage upto 0.015% one way only in intra day and both ways for delivery.

Silvermini and gold mini both require very less margin.

Good luck.

PS: suggest you paper trade for a while before you commit money to trading to go through the various pre opening and post opening upheavals of the various markets :)

Gold Guinea is the cheapest commodity today on the markets. Instead of paper trading, you can learn through real money trading using this product. This is the beautiful advantage we have in our markets.

Money making will be less, but all the experiences will be a rich learning to you. Then you can move up to GoldM and then to other mini products. As of now Silver is a dead product. It is in a broad range snapping to values, sucking out traders accounts. Though MCX is the world leader in Silver volumes, the product is not a favorite now.
