I'm from Kolkata and planning to start investing in stocks. But my first stumbling block is choosing a good and cheap Broker and knowing about the basics. Hope to get some help here.

This forum has all the help you need. Apart from that would you need any help, we are always welcome.

RKG is a cheap brokerage, but as a beginner you need to have a good broker. RKG is good too, in case you want a secure platform then try ICICIBANK, but their brokerage is a little expensive.
