Welcome Manasji, into our fascinating and amazing world of financial markets.

Like how sky is the limit for the earnings you can get from the markets, you don't have any stipulated capital requirement to start. You need to be adequately capitalized to take optimum risks.

You can buy even one share and still be invested, just for a beginner. It depends on the approach you want to take and the exposure you are willing to give. Risk 2% of your capital on any trade. Please and this is a sincere request, please learn the basics before you venture.

Markets are turbulent and at the peak now, though there is no risk of a collapse like we had in 2008, still being on the safe side is good for both your savings and health.

I think I have made too much for an intro. Thanks, have a great time learning and then trading.
