Explanation needed for calculation on multiple trading

#1
hi,

I want to know how the calculation will be done for multi trading on same scrip.
Say for ex i have bought Dharampur 1000 shares @ 60.85 and sold @ 61.85
Rs 1 Diff
and then i again bought after few min the same scrip 1000 shares @ 62.5 and sold @ 63.5. Rs 1 Diff
Should my profit be Rs. 1000+Rs. 1000 (excluding brokerage)? Please explain

Thanks for your reply. But actually it was not calculated as i mentioned earlier. The broker from whom i am trading had taken avg sell price and avg buy price for calculation which results in very less profit. Please help me what shall i do? Can i claim it through NSE??? or any other option.

When i asked them regarding this they told me that if i trade on multiple for the same scrip i need to buy second time the price less than the first time i bought. Is it true??? Please confirm.

Even if you take average Buy and Sell prices the profit bis same. (Rs 2000). So, it does not matter how you calculate. Your broker must have calculated by taking average but totalled for only 1000 shares. Actually you have purchased 2000 share and sold 2000.
