Introduction

hi friends,
I am new to this site.
I have been investing since 1982; more seriously from 1988. Lost almost entirely my saving of 5 years during the Harshad Mehta period of 1992. Never gave up. Kept on investing.
Now I feel that one should just keep investing; not sell. Important thing is that choose the company wisely. Use filters to invest: dividend paying company (increasing dividend - still better).
Weed out: Sell if they skip dividend for 2 years.

You might lose good company by not investing in them (say Micro soft- did not pay dividend)
You might invest in bad company which keep giving dividend for name sake.

Watch out if you have commissioned such errors.

Now I am into trading. Let me see what happens.
