Hello everybody!

I have no such experience to start with or share. Once in 1995 I tried my hand and burnt all the fingers, hands, face everything u just name it, courtsey Mr. Harshad Mehta and his great scam. However, since 2005, I find the economy which is the backbone of any healthy stock exchange is in the firm ground and top of that the performance of our companies and brouses post recessesion, gave me the confidence to test the water once again. But one thing I must share with u; please get first hand knowledge about ins and outs of the trading before jumping the gun. Just don't go by tips from some friend.

Regards to all

hi...friend,
welcome to traderji.
I must say onething. You have found a better place to bank upon ie traderji.com
if you want to day trade...... You need to learn more about your inner psychology.
If you want to swing trade, positional trades, still you should learn about yourself plus risk bearing capacity.
I exactly do not know what is your level of understanding of market behaviour except for the bad experience during harshad mehta scam.

I will try to explain.

If you are not upto taking any risk.....better put your money in bank or post office deposits.
If you like to take any risk....know yourself how much you can risk your capital in advance.... So that even if you loose that much even before making any money..... That should not hang you up and down.

Better understand that stock market investing involves risk....more risk....highest risk..... Before making any money. Decide whether you are ready to take that risk.

It will test your risk taking capability to its fullest extent possible before giving any gains.

If at all the market gives you any small profits initially without risking your capital.... Take it granted that.....market is luring you to risk more money.... Thus making you emotionally committed.

Finally, investing in stock market is an emotional game in which an emotionalally stable investor or trader wins and rest put to rest either permanelty or until they dig some more money to test their waters again.

Have i hurt your feelings..... But that is the fact....freind.
