Hi from personal finance columnist, India Wall Street Journal

Hi, I work for America's largest newspaper, The Wall Street Journal, and we have recently launched a personal finance column for our Indian readers. The column, titled "Maximum Money", can be read on our web site: www.india.wsj.com.

For those of you who might not know, The Wall Street Journal has been covering Wall Street and stock markets for nearly 120 years now, and that's the training I bring with me. For the last four years, I was writing about investing, stock markets, and personal finance for The Wall Street Journal, in New York. Now, I hope to share this knowledge with my countrymen (and women) here in India.

Over the next several months, you will read in my columns various personal finance strategies and tips that have been developed through research and experience of hundreds of investors around the world. All of these are ultimately meant to help you maximize your wealth through prudent saving, investing and planning.

I look forward to having some discussions with you in these forums at Traderji!

Regards, Shefali
