Status is shown Expired

Hi
I am new to icici direct .I have a question about share trading.
i ordered 600 Venus ventures Ltd @13.33 in limit price on 3dec 2009.
After copmpletion of trading hour i saw that my status is Expired.

Could u tell me why it was showing like this and what is the solution for this asap.

It probably means that your BUY order has expired. Orders expire at the end of market hours. If you want you can enter the same order next day.

As u placed limit price to buy @13.33.. So for the whole day, mkt did not reach this level.. i.e. nobody was ready to sell at this price.. (maybe they would have got buyer who are ready to pay higher then this.. So your order was still in pending state.

In our mkt, all such non-executed orders get cancelled /expired at the end of the day..
So if you want, then u will have to re-enter the order tomorrow. Our orders are valid for 1 day only, not like western mkts where u Place "Good Till Cancel" orders which remains until it is cancelled or gets executed by mkt.

Is there any way to check that price where anybody try to sell,So i can buy that share.

... .....

So i am confused which rate i have to put in limit price.
and it is sure that whatever i put in that limit price(which u will going to suggest me) will
executed.
