Dear trader ji,

please claer me whether i m legally autorised to open two ppf ac's
or not . That is one in post office and second in bank. And also i m autorised to deposit rs 70,000 in both institutes.

Please clarify .

Hi,

Now it is not allowed. However you may open an account in the name of wife/Minor & deposit another 70,000/- since 70,000 is the limit for each account.

Hi ,

I heard that Government is palnning to bring EET (Exempt ,exempt ,Tax) to all savings incl PF. If yes , whats the advantage of PPF among fixed deposits ?
