Hello to all traders !

Since becoming disabled by cancer and completing a series of chemo-therapy, I discovered that, after all my savings, IRA etc... was depleted by medical bills that the insurance didn't pick up, I needed some way to earn money from home.

So here I am....educating myself.

I love to trade Equity Options and Futures Options.

Regards, to all my friends in India, Egypt, and Dubai for all their help thus far.

Welcome to Traderji.
Sorry to know what has happened with you.
You have come at the right place. Below are some handy threads in this forum:
  1. Stock to keeps a close eye on - By SavantGarde, one of the Masters of trading on this forum - The thread is quite active and running for a long time. So you will have to go to its last pages for recent updates.
  2. If you are interested in learning technical analysis, then you can visit this section. On the top of that page are important threads such as "Saint's teach a man to fish" and others which you must go through.

Similarly, there are many tips-providers here. Avoid them.

Wish you happy hours on this forum and stock market.

Thank you,
-Bunny.

JP, welcome to the world of trading. Wish you all the best and success here.

Sorry to hear about your case.. but that was something beyond your control or it is gone now. Appreciate that you are taking charge of the days ahead and ready to explore new world of trading. I have found that people who have seen the tough part of life are mentally strong and that mental/psychology strength gives then tremendous edge in the market.

In my view/expereince, Trading is all about psychology.. right from defining your goal, to your battle plan (called trading plan) and more importantly, sticking to that battle plan, everywhere psychology is important ingredient.

Trading is not difficult but the journey to reach the stage where it gets easy, is tough.
Invest in knowledge, draw good strategy (focus to get 1 strategy now), test it with no money or less money and start putting real money when u have confidence in it.

Focus on preserving your account, and keeping your losses to minimum (be ruthless in cutting losses when they are small, else they gets bigger and hurt us more), Profits will follow soon.

All the best.
Feel free to post your doubts/query etc on TJ forum.. people will come back to you with right advice so that u don't make the mistake that they have made.

Happy Trading
