Intro Post

Hello all Traders and Investors,
Trading versus Investing
My first distinction is I do both and treat each (trading and investing) as completely different work. Trading is almost a fulltime job and requires a great deal of what I call "homework" after hours and on weekends using say systems such as Metastock. Investing I see more as "buy and hold" yet check each week or so, this mainly in high dividend blue chips.

Trading and Investing Experience
This would extend for about the last 46 years for Investing and 20 years for trading with a serious push this year as having, I believe, a "now" once in a lifetime opportunity to really make some gains/money after the World Economic Crisis.

Trading and investing in markets
Investing for 46 years and trading seriously for 7 years.

My area of interests
Definitely the Australian banks, Materials, Consumer and most of all Energy. Also work with currencies, CFD's and short selling as speculation now and then...(very hard to call most times)

Trading Decisions
Both trading and investing decisions are checked against a short/medium and long term moving average system. To find trading/investment opportunities I use Metastock and systems based on 52 week hi/lo, Binary waves, Gap Up, Hi vol, close hi etc

How discovered,
Well worked in India for sometime and was interested in specific India Companys like TATA because of the 100Lak car so searching on the NET placed me here...Thanks and tis great to be here and I will be back to India soon as I can ...Loved it...from and Aussie
