I have been trading for about twenty years and trade shares, CFD's and options -full time trading for 15 years.
I have my own software and that is the reason i have come to this forum. I am trying to read a metastock file and it is in an odd format. I am writing in VB (not Vb.net) and I have located the F file but the data appears to be in 28 byte records but the format is unusual. Is there a dll available to just read the data say take it in string and convert to decimal or something like that? I have recollections of a microsoft binary packed data format but can't recall how it worked.
Has anyone any clues?
Thanks
Richard Grace
