is share market is profitable for day trader

#1
Hi, I am Prashant
I have been in share market for last 2 yrs. In first year to my badluck the recession started taking place and i opted out of equity market to try my luck in options. There also one trade was successful out of 10 trades. I used to trade watching support & resistance levels but all in vain.
I am interested in options & equity day trading, I am using terminal screen for trading in that i get calls from service provider also. I am susceptible to success ratio of service provider.
Can anybody tell if trading with subscribing any service which provide tips, and there if any can anybody suggest me the name.
Thanks,
Best wishes to all trader community

If you are not successful with day trading, then avoid it. Tips and calls dont make you money.
You can invest directly or better invest in mutual funds to make money.

Hey Prashant...

Avoid Tips..some one this forum very rightly pointed out

TIPS = PITS

You can still use advisory secvices to identify sectors and scrips, analyze them and then take any decision based on it rather than blindly following what service provider is asking you to do...He got his money for giving you 'tips' nd now its up to you to protect your capital...Its simple - If I knew what going to get me rich why would I take mere couple of thousands from ppl...

You say

//I am interested in options & equity day trading//

you must be novice or an expert; that is the way psychology behind the combination works

Sorry to learn that you lost some money in equities. Try to concentrate on one area (either equities or index or funds or derivatives) and (only daytrading or margin trading or swing trading or short term trading or long term trading) and stick to a trading plan. By limiting yourself this way you will succeed in the long run

To answer your question if market is profitable for a daytrader, Well, someone on the other side of your trade has made money. Right.

Cheer up and keep at it, you could soon be the person on the winning side of the trade.:)
