I am new to this forum as well as to share trading. I am trying to learn the basics of trading-how to pick right ones, entry and exit point etc. Going the past posts and they are very useful and thanks to all.
I have installed aptistock and learning to use the indicators. I find one difficulty: EOD update of NIFTY. Aptistock takes only those tickers with 9 characters. Charts for those with more than 9 chars. are not shown in aptistock. Updating the EOD data with 'get bhavcopy' program, which also is not limiting the chars of stocks to 9. Hope to get some help from this forum to solve my difficulty and gt the entire Nifty EOD in metastock format with 9 characters.
