I have a limited knowledge of the stock market. I have been investing in the market for the last fifteen years, but the decisions were taken by professionalsfor me.

I would now like to improve my knowledge in analysing and knowing the market . To that extent technology has improved in coolection/ collation and presentation of data. I would like to take advantage of this in understanding the market. But where do I get the data? At this moment I cannot afford to subscribe to databases of commercial enterprises.Are there sites where the data is available at a low cost or free ?

To start with , I would like know the PE ratio of all companies. I would like to rank them based on this. I find in money control .com that I get the PE of the company I request . However I need a list of PEs of all companies. Where will this be available.
