Intro + Help with information gathering
Hi All,
I am really happy to find this forum and wish I would have seen this place before. I am not very successfull as faris as stock trading concerned(7-8 months old into trading). My not being successfull is may be because I never had the right information at the right time. After visiting this forum I saw various advanced tools for stock analysis and lots of data.... Thanks a lot to all for sharing. As I am a programmer I am thinking of coding my own tool which will be capable of doing following: -- Everyday download Bhavcopies from NSE & BSE.. load them to a database. -- Perform various queries on the database like... -Show the Losers .. Today ... or any time duration or date -Show the Gainers..Today ... or any time duration or date -Show stocks within a given price range -Queries related to volumes -New stock additions -Or anything some else suggest me.. told you I don't know much. I don't know how many existing tools are already doing this and how sound this idea is.... But if you see any point in my idea do respond. Am waiting for advises and feedback from all the experts.. And once aging Thanks a Lot for this place.
