a newbie question -
in a long term trading say you had allocated 50 stocks of a company for selling at current market price say in BSE, is it guaranteed that all (or few) of the stocks gets sold?, i know may be a stupid question. My maths - say if we buy 100 numbers of some great stocks (after studying) for long term investing. 1,2 years after that if price of the stocks gone higher (profit for sure) and you list all of them for selling (say you are using ICICIDirect). If its guaranteed that it gets sold then for sure you get profit so where is the question of loss? if stocks gets sold only if there are buyers at that time then profit is not guaranteed i think
