I'm glad to have found this forum and would like to introduce myself. My name is Sammy, and I have been dabbling in the market for a couple of years now. I must admit I found some of the "wisdom" posts to be real pearls!
I've switched from investing (buy-and-hold, gather from newsletters style) to rather active trading last October (yeah, I know, scary time to be in the market
I do see the benefits in both styles, and that is what I have chosen to do too. I do buy-and-hold type investing on the Indian market and Options/stocks intra-day-to-a-week style trading on the US markets. Been doing fairly well so far.
Lastly, I do hope to learn, and more importantly - to share, a lot. You may not always agree with what I have to say, but we all end up enriching the discussion nevertheless. Once again, thanks for this site - it has been a pleasure thus far.

PS: I haven't figured out how to just say "Thank you" to a thread or a post - other than, I mean, posting the actual words I did see at least another member recently saying that the "Thank You button" is gone. Where is this button, anyone?
