Want to convert *.xls to metastock file

Hello

I have done some working on the *.xls sheet & now i want to convert this file to metastock format file so that i can view it in form of charts

the fields are ticker o h l c v oi . i have used the downloader convert process but the *.xls file actually is not getting converted into metastock format ( *.DAT) file
