I have 2 issues .
Firstly, I read in Economic Times that if I m registering as a subbroker, stamp duty is not leviable if the broker's official(registered) address is outside Maharashtra. Secondly, Stamp duty is still not payable even while you transact your account with a broker in Maharashtra
But when I took up the matter with my Broker he maintains that there is no such provision and had asked me to show him the relevant provisions.
Can somebody help me out with advising the right position regarding this.
