this is my first post on this forum.. i've just found it and it lookd pretty intersting... i'm a beginner to trading and so obvioulsy a total anadi compared to most of u all... i have invested a small sum in the market... really its small change but thats becausei did not have the stomach to invest a greater amount given my lack of knowledge and experience in this field.. so i thought of playing safe.. saw gains in the first three days.. and then greed got the better of me
and the next morning i wake up and see my whole 'portfolio' in red.. well doesn't matter.. i'm hoping some of your knowledge will rub of me and hopefully help me learn atleast the basics of trading and investing.. i've picked a total 13 % loss in my portfolio which consists of ranbaxy, unitech and indian hotels.. what say should i sell and cut my losses or should i wait.. it been in the green for two days now and i read somwhere that ranbaxy's open offer should be coming around in august ????
