Hi,
Is PAN card mandatory to open demat ac?what is the difference bw trading ac & demat ac?

Yes, PAN card is a must for investment in Shares/securities and also for opening a Dmat a/c. Trading account is one which you open with a broker/subbroker for your investment/trading in shares/deb or other financial instrument. and for opening a trading a/c you would need PAN card

Yes, you need a pan card for opening demat account.
Trading & demat A/c are two different A/cs but they are generally opened with the same broker. Demat A/c is where you keep your shares, whereas Trading A/c is need ed to buy-sell shares in your demat. You may have these A/cs with different brokers. But I suggest you to open both with same broker.
