Introduction

Hello everybody,
I am Narayanan and have just joined the Forum. I am fairly new to the world of investing and trading in stocks. I had a few stocks in physical form purchased in 1994-96 and have DMAT them in 2006.Unfortunately I had not noted the price at which these stocks were bought. I need this information to submit my IT returns.Can somebody suggest where I can get this historical data since most of the sites I visited give data only for the last 5 years. Thanks

well u can go to www.nseindia.com to ..click on equity-> historical data
u can get the idea from bhavcopy also...actually exactly which script u looking for and date ...??
