I recently returned to India from US where I had been trading part-time for almost 1 yrs. I have mostly day-traded DJ Euro Stoxx Index futures (on EUREX exchange) & swing traded the Nasdaq 100 ETF called QQQ. I should say I am still learning though I am a lot wiser than I was a year ago when I started trading. My trades are based on simple tech analysis - finding a trend (long or short), hopping & riding it until it is strong and then getting off it.
I found your community while searching on Google for Indian market data feeds. I am glad I found this community. I will share whatever I have learnt & learn from you all too. I plan to day trade Nifty futures after getting familiar with the market, so I will basically be observing the market full-time for few months & come up with a trading plan and then start trading. Thanks for creating this wonderful community, I plan to stick with this community and share & learn ideas. --SwingTrader |

Hi
Welcome to our community. We would like you to share your experiences with the US markets & the difference between the Indian markets. US markets work as a professional org but here in india most of the time your charts say something else & the market is going the other way round. Here most of the time its manipulations. I too trade FX markets. James |

Hi
I live in the US and am planning to get back in a couple of years...doing my MBA to get into equities... I suggest investors to consider gold as an investment .. I feel the price will shoot up as the $ tanks ... of course, i feel indian equities r gonna outperform the DOW in the future... |
