I am ashok Reddy, M 56, working as Principal scientist in Agricultural Researchat Warangal, AP. I have been investing in shares and mutual funds since last 15 years.
Having burnt down my fingres in the wake of Harshad Mehta meltdown due to my lack of experience and other factors, I stopped investing between 1993 to 2004. However I started investing again and making positive gains.Now many developements like demat, online trading and transfer of money, no market lot system, lesser brokerage, and hassel free settlements have helped me to regain the lost groung.
Upon my advise to start investing early in shares ( even if they are small amonuts) to get best results in the long run., my daughter started investing since last two years.
