Read the autobiography of 'Lee Iocaca' & of 'Akio Morita' in 1987 (when i was working & had no inkling with trading in capital mkt).
These are real life examples how 'Dreams' are achieved.

"Financial Markets and Services"- Gordon and Natarajan
Himalayan publishing house.
Not a good read.

But has some stuff regarding financial markets!

BTW- I got my copy from ............,Cochin
