Strategies for F&O
 Dear Friends,I have been in the stock market - cash - since 1980 & fairly successful. I have also ventured into F&O almost since inception. I have lost substantial money successfully!!!. I used to sell far out of the money calls - without hedging & have got myself caught badly in the PSU disinvestment stories of BPCL & HPCL - the days when everyday there was contradicting messages from Govt functionaries & Politicians. I lost money in Satyam too again by selling outof the money calls & puts without hedging. For the past few months I have made slow progress by selling far out of the money calls in Reliance having cash holding of the stock. This month I bought Reliance Future @ Rs 516 & sold 540 call for about Rs 10. I squared up the position by selling the future @ Rs 540 & booking a loss on the call option by buying it back @ Rs 16 - making about Rs 10,000. It was more by chance. I am looking for friends who are more knowledgeable & to learn trading strategies. With Best Wishes, Thomas
