Beginner - Help required on BTST

Hello,

I am new to Traderji forum and new to stock market also. I recently opened the margin trading account.

I need the help on BTST. I am not sure whether I should post this topic in this section.

Today I purchased Reliance energy shares on delivery basis, thinking that I can sell it tomorrow under BTST option. Now I just gone thru icicidirect site, there it is saying that if we purchase the stock on cash delivery basis, we need to wait till the stock is coming to demat account then only we can sell.

I want to know whether I can sell the shares tomorrow. Anyone can help.
