Well shals that is a good question. Offline will cost you more to trade but you get advice. Online is the cheapest but there isnt much difference between brokers IMHO. If you plan to buy and hold then maybe Offline is the best for you. What do you want to trade? This will depend on the broker too. There are lots of sites with free advice out there but be careful its your money. My website www.asia-etrading.com talks about the etrading biz. You can get the tips at this site and I think they have an invesment letter too but I can help you with the etrading side if you want. Good luck!

Thanks for your help.

I am still not sure if I should go for online trading; I basically don't have time to trade online, hence I am considering offline broker.
What about Investsmart or Reliance Money.
Would you help me compare between all the known brokers, so that I can make an informed decision.
IndiaBulls
Inevstsmart
R-Money
IndiaIndfoline
etc.

I could but then I'd have to charge you
But really when it comes down to basic online trading its all the same. If one is cheaper then they just charge you in a different way. You should really be worried more about informed stock trading than anything else. Personally, I dont know these brokers so I couldn't say which I prefer. I use Etrade myself but most of the bells and whistles I dont use. I just need to send orders.

Anyone else help out with these brokers?
