hi everyone
hi,
senior traders Iam basically from chennai - india. currently placed in overseas. Iam entirely new to investments, lately iam interested in investments. just started to invest on Mutual funds. Iam now more interested to invest on shares, so plan to open a demat a/c. But iam not a aggressive trader and would only trade once in a while. I need guidance on how to go about. I just feel guiddy when reading all those technical jargons listed in the online brokerage website. Can anyone hold my hands and bring along with them into the world of investments. Oh yeah i know its too much to ask for  . but still someone would be there to share their invaluable knowledge and experience to guide a newbie like me. Iam looking for those type of people, to whom i can even want to establish a personal contacts through messaging and emails.hope to have a good time in the forums cheers

Hi,
Warm welcome to the forum. You may find "Teach a man to fish..." by Saint, a great thread to begin with. It teaches you Technical Analysis(TA) from the scratch. There are other good threads too. You can find all such links in the first post of "New members: please read this..." thread. Cheers, Praveen.
