I stumbled upon this forum a few days back...I'll introduce myself strictly on the line suggested by traderji.
1) Your trading/investing experience.
None...Last year I opened a DMAT Acc with ICICI. After one year I have no shares in my acc i.e. never traded or cared to even log in. After paying the annual fees this year I was in a dilemma whether to close it or learn stock market. That's when I stumbled upon traderji
2) The number of years you have been investing or trading in the markets.
Well...if u can call opening a dmat acc investment then slighly more than an yr. Otherwise zilch
3) Your area of interest - IPO's/secondary market/futures/options/commodities, etc.
No clue what ur talking about
4) How do you make your trading decisions.
Well...err.......
5) How you discovered this forum.
googled it....
6) ETC, etc.
By now all of you must have figured out what a dumba$$ i am. But I am pretty serious about this stuff. I was looking for some proper guidance last year which i cudnt get from any one. Hoping to finally figure out what's its all about from this forum. My initial queries are:
1. where and how do i start? That includes what all do i have to look for in an organization before investing. How much money should I be investing initially blah blah
2. I understand share market can be a full time occupation - but being a small time professional how much optimum time would I have to spend per day to stay in tune with market.
