At the outset, let me CONGRATULATE ALL THE MEMBERS of this site for having setting up and maintaining this site, with postings getting added frequently.
I have visited many sites scouting for data related to stock exchange. But this IS THE BEST. I was majorly impressed by the way the senior members in the team help and promptly post replies to the queries from new / existing members. That shows that this COMMUNITY IS HERE TO GROW - AND NOT go......

Talking about me and my past experience in the stock markets...
Not been too good, as I've suffered financial losses ONLY AND ONLY DUE TO HALF KNOWLEDGE AND "OVER CONFIDENCE".
But yes, I learned a lesson on time and now trade for intraday on Equities with a little margin...as I am yet to understand the market.
And I'm sure that with the existing members who extend their helping hand wholeheartedly, I shall be able to achieve what I want...
I'm not looking for something hi-tech...but want to understand as to how to read the various indicators so as to enter / exit at the right time..Based on my previous experience, I've learned that NO ONE CAN PREDICT THE MARKETS..ITS BEST TO BE A FOLLOWER, RATHER THAN HAVE MISCONCEPTIONS ABOUT PREDICTING THE MARKET AND MAKE LOSSES.
Can some senior members give some good site names / tips as to how to read the various technical indicators.
Also one last question, I have observed that the data Nifty data i.e. OHLC on NSE (collected in the evening for that day) is different from the data present on finance.yahoo.com (India site)...Can some one explain as to why the difference and which one is correct.
Secondly, is there any software available which will give BUY / SELL signals for Nifty F&O trading - which is the safest and least riskiest trading. Lots of sites talk about their software and CHARGE PHENOMENALLY high prices for subscribing / purchasing...
Is there anything which is cheap / free (I am nearing towards expiry of a similar software developed by a local person in Pune for which he charges Rs.5500/- per annum) which is more or less accurate - upto 65%+ accurate.
He would've done using some formulaes. Any idea what would those be...Does anyone have and idea. I can share a few days data (snapshot can be uploaded as the location of the files is not very clear - he has ensured that no NORMAL user can hack his software for code / formulae). I have to login in at around 9pm every working DOW and update the data (which he takes from yahoo finance site) and then PREDICTS a buy or sell for the next day - which we have to take position between 3.15pm to 3.30pm and square of the position on the next working day / retain and trail stop losses / profits....
Request SENIOR MEMBERS TO GUIDE AN AMATEUR ON THE SAME, WHICH WOULD BE USEFUL FOR A LOT OF MEMBERS OF THIS COMMUNITY.
