What is the best bank to start SIP's of Mutual Funds for 1year?

I'm new to Mutual Funds and trading. I've heard that SIP(Systematic Investment Plans) are effective if you want to invest money over a long period of time. I would like to invest periodically for 1year. Can you please let me know what is the best bank/source where i can do that with higher returns?

1 year is not a long period for mutual fund investing.Onecshould invest with a view of 4-5 years.

There are many diversified equity mutual funds one can invest through SIP.Google search best performing equity funds and decide.
