Default Viratech or Technical trends

Hi all,

wanted to know which data provider is better- technical trends also known as sukhanis or viratech. there is a big difference in their real time feed prices. sukhanis is nearly half the price of what viratech is asking for.

Regards

Rahul

Viratech takes around 55000 plus tax for real time plus around 7000 for EOD data and sukhani takes around 35000 plus tax for real time. What i am looking for is why there is so much diff in the prices.

Probably because Sukhani's data isnt realtime, the delay is significant if one calls it realtime. Not too sure about Viratech's data, they do say it updates dynamically ( i.e one can see a 5 min bar tick by tick) not too sure about the quality.Check everything out carefully. Also check out Stoxtrend.com

Hi CV,

You were right. I spoke to Sukhanis and there 5 minute data does not upload live. It is uploaded after every 5 minutes. SO basically we get a tick after every 5 minutes.

I will now speak to stoxtrend and see how their data works. Any news on their quality of service and how they manage to give service to ppl outside calcutta.

Rgds

Hi,
You can try LeverageIndia for the real time data. The data they provide is TICK by TICK and updates every tick. They are charging something like 3000 per month. You can try that. Try there site for contact details.

If you want to get cheap alternative to Real Time data Providers, try www.DataFetchers.com they provides plugins which gets data feeds directly from ODIN, PIB, ***** and MCX to AmiBroker or MetaStock.

Try it for very cheap alternative to Realtime data, which is realtime data with difference !!!!

Nope dear, Very clearly written, it is Plugins....not data providing and furhter cleared that alternate to Realtime data .....

Please note both that words very clear....

Still more clarifying...

It is Plugins.... RealTime converter, It depends on data source, if data source provided backfill, it will get it like in case of PIB, it gives backfill for the day and One utility called FetchFromPIB (FFP) does this for the day while ODIN is not giving any backfill and so, FetchFromODIN (FFO) is not giving you any backfill.

This utility is Realtime Data converters, called Plugins, not any kind of data providing/data provider in any respect.

Real alternative to realtime data !!!!

I think now it will be cleared.

Thanks for asking and raising that...
