Josh's NestRTD (Download Link) works perfect for live feed from NEST to Amibroker (Video Tutorial). You can also back-fill 1 min data for past 15 days (much accurate than other free sources like Google).

Spent some time and play with the files, especially, settings.ini you will get the logic!

i have Ami Broker 4.7 for EOD data viewig. I am having Zerodha PI trading terminal. can I use this utility for live data in ami ....

No. NestRTD works as an interface between NOW/NEST and AB.

Although AB 4.7 is obsolete (and in most cases illegally installed) quote transmission might work.

You can ask Zerodha for NSE-NOW terminal, but once activated, you will no longer have access to Pi/Kite. Having said that, considering the recent pitfall in Zerodha’s OMS (other technical issues) and overall performance in user-experience, it is anyways, unreliable (even risky) to execute short-term day trades using Pi/Kite.

I am not affiliated or an advertiser but an observer, and have found Upstox’s tools/systems far more reliable. Online account opening is free, fast & very easy with Aadhar – just have to courier POA. Trading costs are exactly same. Upstox (formerly known as RKSV) provides desktop-terminal as NEST and an awesome “in-house developed” widget-based web application (unlike, any other broker’s outsourced charting tools) called ProUpstox (search YouTube).

Using NEST terminal and Josh’s NestRTD, you can transmit live quotes to AB. Will also suggest upgrading AB as it will open up new features and a new world of interesting AFLs with access to new ideas via AFL Library / AB Community.

Log into your server thru RDP and start rtd from there.

Dear Josh, Thanks for your reply. Below are the steps I had followed:

1. Bought Windows 2012 R2 server on GoDaddy.
2. I was log in into server through RDP only.
3. Installed Nest 7. running fine
4. Installed Nt-7 running fine.
5. Installed RTD 1.4. restarted NEST. connect NT-7 thorough external data source. and started RTD.
6. open RTD and clicked on Backfill to see if symbols are shown. Yes they were available as in NEST.
6. hit "STArt RTD". some blank BLACK screen opened besides RTD. and after some time message opened. msvcr100.dll (don't rember exact name) is not available.

7. downloaded abv. dll through Microsoft site. x86 version. installed it.
8. restarted server
9. problem persists.
10. installed Nest plus software and restarted server again.
11. same problem.
12. I have tried 2-3 times and problems persists.
13. even after installing abv. dll same message keeping coming up.
aftre that I gave up.

Plz comment wht wrong I did.

Regarding the msvcr.dll, you have mentioned x86 , so is it 32 bit or 64 bit ?

I remember once downloading this DLL for my Laptop & what I read at the downloading site was about downloading 32 bit or 64 bit.

on previous pages in this thread x86 is recommended. so loaded tht. other version available was 64 bit but not able to install it.

As you have already downloaded the file so no need to download through the mentioned websites in the above article, but steps mentioned are helpful. Might be if something is missing could be fixed.

Exact error is required. Change dir to the folder where RTD is installed. Start Rtdman.exe. Let us see what error it throws.

X86 doesn't mean 32bit. It could be 64 bit

I have changed my system to windows 10 32 bit.
RTD 1.3 and 1.5 works alright for NOW trading terminal.

I am not able to get RTD feed with NEST Trader of TSO 3.13.
I am getting error message in RTD MAN
"Unable to connect to application. Waiting"

It was working well with Windows-7

Please help.
