tick chart

tick charts are useful only in real time.

Historical tick charts will be modified after market closes because trades gets modified. So any strategy or back test you run will give wrong results.

you have to run your strategy in real time if you are using tick charts.

Sadly there are none. There are many scammers here in India who provide wrong data to customers on daily charts, forget tick charts.

There is really no option. Still waiting for that day when i will get a reliable data provider in india and i can ditch esginal.

Terminals are used for placing orders , not charting purpose. They are not designed for data feeding. The data feeding applications are specially designed to handle various conditions.

if you try and use the terminal to feed your charts , your data won't be reliable because there could be delays and misses during volatility and if you look for entries and exits based on this , you are increasing your risk.

If terminals were good enough for data feeding purposes, all data vendors would be out of business.
