Global Datafeeds

#1
Sorry if this thread must be available elsewhere, but could not find one, so I am posting a new thread.

I am planning to subscribe with global datafeeds for their services.

I wanted to know if we join the nimbleDataPro Lite verion (only 5 symbols)
do we get the historical data with it ? In case yes, what is the time period for this historical data ?

If this is not available with the Lite version, can we go for the full version, if we want both RT + historical. thanks.

The Global Data Feeds doesn't provide True Tick data with 1 sec time stamp as advertised in their web site.It is misleading.

It has only 1M backfiling and it doesn't allow storage of data in 1Sec format.

There are other cheaper data providers who provide the same for less than quarter of their costs.

This leaves us to go with e-signal or quote center or try to fetch the data directly from the brokers terminal.

Hello,

1 month historical data in 1 minute format is available in all data products. If you require more historical data, you can always arrange it on your own (or buy from us) and import into your realtime database. Historical EOD data is however not available in nimbleDataPlusLite.

Visit our site and click on COMPARE link at the top menu. It gives detailed comparison of all data products.

Regards,
Megha
In Nimble data pro lite we get RT updation of any 5 symbols. Does one get the RT updation of entire NSE data at the end of the day? Can one change these 5 symbols at any time and multiple times.
I start the day tracking Nifty Bank Nifty, SBI, Tata Steel and ACC. At 12 Noon switch to Bank of Baroda in place of SBI and Tata Motor in place of Tata Steel and Gujarat Ambuja inplace of ACC? Will my data till noon for these symbols be updated when I switch to them in RT?

Global Data Feeds is the best data provider for NSE FnO and it is good news to know that they starting cash segment data. Unlike other cheap data provider, their data quality is high and using their service for the past months, I mention here that it is number one for quality and service. Just focus on trading, don't waste time thinking about data latency, tick data ....etc............

Thanks,

Good to get a feed back from someone actually using it!! But one needs to think about data latency when we are talking of RT data! So do post your expirience about the delay in data updation GDFL vis a vis RT Neat Terminal!!

when are you going to start MCX data. Why are you not tapping a big market that has potential to grow.
i agree

iam also looking for good data vendor with reasonable costing like urs

mcx data vending space has not been tapped by many compared to NSE

as far as i know, i have spoken to many, so many of them are desperately in need of a good quality data source for mcx

hope someone from GFDL reply :)
