ODIN and METASTOCK connectivity

HI EVERY ONE.I have metastock & ODIN.can anybody explain in detail how to link ODIN & METASTOCK.
what is winros.exe?

I have DIET ODIN installed in my machine. I have Metastock 10 version. I would like Metastock to link with ODIN as realtime data source. Is it possible? Can anyone help?

Ravindra, I think I can help you with a utility which can get you reatime tick by tick data into Ami/Meta stock.. I hv a utility which works pretty well with CASH market.. I am in process of customizing that for ODIN. I need some inputs from you..how does DIET-ODIN store tick data..is it in some flat file(In some readable file ?) wud be great if you can send me the sample file(which ticks are stored) ..I can provide you that utility free of cost.. thanks, Moneybhai

its not possible to link odin files to ur metastocks............
as far my techinicals views.............
odin is simple cuite and excellent software as far i seen compared to other

Its as simple as making a cup of tea.

U will require either of these two.
1- Metaserver RT
2- DDE chartupdater

After Getting it , simply configure any of these two to fetch data.

If ur using DDEChartupdater , data will come into metastock with a flicker.
using MSRT , data will be as smooth as butter. But all u will need to know is how to configure right way with metastock. Neither using metastock now nor excel data provider. so can not send u the pics.
