how to feed real time data to metastock?

Hi All,
I am using Metastock for quite long time for EOD. I have a software which gets 5 min data for intraday in ASCII Format. Using Metastock Downloader, i am able to convert Intraday ASCII files to metastock format. But Metastock is unable to detect it.
Is Metastock EOD capable of reading Intraday files?

Format for ASCII Files i am using:
<Ticker>,<per>,<Date>,<Time>,<Open>,<High>,<Low>,<Close>,<Vol>
Time is in format like: 16:30


I have tried to install Metastock Pro with no real-time data. Whenever i start metastock pro, it tries to look for Equis data server (EQDATSRV.exe) and when i cancel this, program terminates.
Do i have to become member of eSginal or Reuters to use MetastockPro?

Please provide some

You can try this. Uninstall metastock, while reinstalling make sure to choose "no real time data" when it asks about data vendor.This should work. let me know.

Uninstall Metastock Pro, Install again and choose DBC signal as realtime vendor. Use metaserver to use it in realtime mode , or use DDE chart updater to get realtime quotes in offlinemode.For more details you can write to me at [email protected]

In start menu and Equis folder u see metastock OFFLINE MODE button .just use it.

hi,

i did the same as mentioned by u...still the application asks for the eddatsrv.exe and when it is cancelled the application closes
