Hello Stokist
Basically TT advance is a run down version of a trading SW "IRIS"(www.spidersoftwareindia.com).The same SW is being used by Sharekhan as speed trade. Can you develop a same utility for sharekhan users? Regards Sunando Last edited by sunbim31; 26th April 2008 at 11:07 PM.

Sorry guys,
Had busy weekend. Laksh, are you downloading over dial-up connection? The utility is very small file (10KB) so normally should not be problem downloading and extracting. Let me know if you have got it thru the link Sunando posted. Thanks Sunando. Same utility can be used with modifications for Sharekhan speed-trade users too. I just need to check if the format of files, naming conventions etc are same or different. In case of TTAdvance the directry TTAdvance contains TAData*.dat files that contain the realtime quotes for various symbols. Whats isequivalent in speed-trade? can you upload some of the quote files from speed-trade so that I can check and do necessary modifications. cheers Stokist

Many thanks for uploading the file to **********. I was able to download and run the file. Stockist, I was able to run the utility. But I kept on getting error messages like "Uhandled exception error ----" Emaster entry not allowed --" ( the words are not exact) every few seconds. It became so inconvenient to run the utility with ttadv that I had to stop it. I could see charts of some of the scrips in my watch list but not all. I was not not able to get the chart of MINIFTY 29 May 2008 inspite of repeated attempts. So this is my feedback for the first day of running the utiity. Hope you will be able to suggest some solution. Laksh

Thanx for sharing bro ... Though im not sure its working perfectly on rt or not ... if it will work ,... i will be very very very very thankful to u as i will be able to get rid of PIB and honestly speaking TTADVANCE as absolutely no match with any other softwares in current days( though others r good but This handy tool has benifited me alot ). Let me hope it works fine with me tomorrow. Though i could fetch only cash market data for today's EOD ... could not see either cash or future nifty anywhere. so do i need to set up anything extra ?? means my working portfolio in TTADVANCE ?? or do i need to do anything else ?? and One more big asking from myside ,.. is it possible to BACKFILL ?? tHANX ,.. N REGARDS,.. dAR$H

Cant say ,as i dont use tt5,is it due to the Version which Laksh is using than what is being proposed by Stokist.
