NSE Intraday data
Hi All, Can any body tell how to download the intraday trading data of NSE. The bhavcopy available on NSE website is EOD data. I tried but could not locate the intraday data for download.

To the best of my knowledge intraday data is not availabe on NSE site .you
will have to buy from data vendor .Alternatively you may subscribe for online trading at sharekhan or 5paisa or many sites available and they provide intraday chart facility as part of package.

Thanks for the information. As I understand, one need to be connected to the internet for viewing intraday charts on Sharekhan or 5paisa website. I wanted to download the intraday trading data of NSE for offline study. Is there any source known for this? Regards,

I am also looking for the same, but it seems to be difficult to find if one does not want to use Bloomberg/Reuters. There must be another source...anyone have any ideas?

According to me intraday data is not available free of charge.you will have to
subscribe for charting software such as meta stock or falcon. meta stock intraday data is quite expensive but falcon quite cheaper compared to meta stock. However it will require internet connection in any case. Intraday data is useful for day trader.

The NSE disseminates (or used to) high-frequency data on CDs for each security containing tick by tick data. But cant find any reference to it on their website now. The data is (was) available from April 99 with a three month lag. The cost was very very nominal compared to the information that could be extracted from the data. Maybe you could contact the NSE and enquire about it.

i m the intraday data vendor and i would b very much glad if u do subscribe from us . V do provide data for nse futures and some cash scripts in 5 min bars and 1 min refresh. thats all with regards Bunty
