Two data feeds on same computer

Hi

My current data provider is esignal. I am using their delayed feed called Esignal Classic with Ninjatrader 7.

Real time Esignal works out to be too costly.

I am looking for a Indian data provider with reasonable costs which I can use with Amibroker.

I had a look at two providers, Gdfl and rtds but there are problems running both Esignal and the real time provider at the same time. Esignal tends to shut down when the other data feed is running.

One option is to have a separate computer running Gdfl.

However is there any other alternative ? Maybe install Esignal and Gdfl in separate drives on the same computer ?

Would be thankful for any suggestions/help on this.

Thanks in advance.

True Data India provide Real Time data to different charting softwares simultaneously.

Neo Trade Analytics also provide RT data to different softwares but in their case I am not sure whether it can be simultaneous or not.

Dear riws,
as per leonid said, NEOTrade & GDFL feeed rt feed diffrent sw simultaniously, in your case, u can use simultaniously feed RT to NINJA7 & AMI WITHOUT ANY ISSUE in same computer so go ahead with anyone..
( NEO is cheaper than GDFL & BOTH are NSE authenticated data reseller))

Happy Trading...

Guys

Thanks for the reply but my issue is I am trying to run two data feeds at the same time i.e Esignal delayed and an Indian provider realtime.

Problem is many of our providers use the Esignal plugin (dll file) to link to these softwares.

So the Esignal DM tends to shut down when I run the Indian data feed software.

1) Gdfl has setup instructions that Esignal should be deleted when running their software.

2) Truedata seems to have a new plugin for Amibroker but even they connect to Ninjatrader using the Esignal plugin.

Right now I am more interested in Gdfl as they provide both FnO + mcx but truedata's new plugin seems to be a good option as well.

Thanks @Leonid and @optionwriter

you can run ninja 7 and ninja 8 simultaneously in one computer.
third party indicators will not work in ninja 8.
one more advice to esignal users indian exchange data provided by esignal is missing many ticks in real time.it can be clearly seen in the foot print charts, in normal candles you may not find difference.

Hey Riws

Just for query , why do you want to use delayed feed & real time feed at the same time ?

Your problem can be answered by the data service provider who may have a workaround for such kind of obstacle.

Happy Trading.

Do not use neotrade. their service, after zerodha funded it, are extremely poor. They may close providing services soon. And see level of service. for one week their website was not working. Then if you want to renew your subscription, you cant. May be even now there is no option for payment if you want to buy any package.

HI ,LAST WEEK WEBSITE DOWN ,it's due to site maintanance, they noticed to their clients, no issue to payment for any timeline subscription, even zerodha clients get good deal compared to GDFL/TRUEDATA...
