National Stock Exchange: Agency Says It Will Add 4 New Companies to Nifty 50 Index


The NSE said in a release Monday that it will add Aurobindo Pharma Ltd., Bharti Infratel Ltd., Eicher Motors Ltd. and Tata Motors' Differential Voting Rights to the index.

So which 4 will go out or is it going to be Nifty 54.

PNB, Vedanta and one more will go out, nifty will have 51 scrips, but the name will remain Nifty 50.

Bharti Airtel: Telecom Company Announces Upgrade of Mobile 4G Speeds to 135 Mbps in Some Places

Airtel rolled out the higher speeds on its network in Kerala in a partnership with Nokia Networks. The upgrade is part of its Rs. 60,000 crore Project Leap investment program.

Cairn India, Punjab National Bank and Vedanta will be dropped from the National Stock Exchange's Nifty 50 index with effect from April 1.

After NSE, BSE says one person company can act as stock broker. However, such broker will not be permitted to trade in his proprietary account.
