fastest DNS servers

Guys google has just launched its free dns servers and the speeds of loading pages are much faster:clap:. try out the settings

Primary DNS: 8.8.8.8
Secondary DNS: 8.8.4.4

hit back with your findings.

If some of you are not able to figure out how to change the DNS servers come back here, help is always a post away.

Hi,

If I am connecting via Tata broadband , I will use DNS provided by TATA.How will DNS of google help me ..Do u mean if I add Goggle's DNS , serach by google would be fast or google finance would be fast ?

let me get into the tech a bit,
DNS servers are look up address tables i.e every address on the web is stored in terms of numeric values. The DNS contains all the address locations of the web and hence a faster DNS server means your connections to address locations are faster(cause the acquisition of the address is faster) and therefore decreasing the time to locate a address is less and time taken to load the page is less.

using this DNS server increases the performance on the whole and not only confined to the google products.
I suggest you to change the DNS servers and experience how quick the google servers are. I wont be surprised that you will concur with me on google after trying it out.
i am on bsnl and changing the DNS servers made a lot of difference in the load times of pages.

Try Pinging Each DNS and the one which you find has lesser response time will be better
IMO Google's is equally good compared with others
