Facing difficulties in internet

#1
Now a days I am facing a lot of problems while doing internet. Every time I get a message Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage and I have to refresh many times to restore my connectivity or go back to previous page.

After some time I have to restart the system and then it will work for some time and after a few minutes again the same problem comes.

In the event viewer I get a warning message TCP /IP has reached the security limit imposed on the number of concurrent TCP connect attempts
Also I get a few error messages in the event viewer

(a) DCOM got error "The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it. " attempting to start the service BITS with arguments "" in order to run the server: {4991D34B-80A1-4291-83B6-3328366B9097}
(b) Timeout (30000 milliseconds) waiting for the msddll service to connect

Following files are missing from my system.

(a iecontlc.dll (b) iecont.dll

Please help me to find out a solution.

Thanks in advance

Most of the problems novice/non IT users face is virus problems. I do come across many such instances and in many cases that's the case. i do not know what exactly the problems you are facing, but the solution would be

I am assuming your ISP has no problems and problem is at your end.

1. Re-install the operating system.
2. DO NOT DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL ANY SOFTWARE FROM INTERNET.(95% you will be safe if you follow this)

3. Install free anti virus like avast.

your machine will run for years without any problem. you will not have any problems if you follow 2)

I had a similar problem though I cant remember the error messages. The problem was with the switch of the ISP for this area. This was replaced by the ISP at their expense ofcourse. That solved the problem. So if the same problem occurs in more than one machine, which was in my case nothing wrong with your machine.
Hope that helps.

As Rao said its definitely a problem of virus which has corrupted your OS, Re-install & then add a Anti-virus & Firewall 1st... & then install minimum required software & no fancy enhancement stuff to avoid trouble next time... also run a prog like trojan remover or similar to detect any trojan which many times Anit virii miss..
