Default Dedicated Trading With Dedicated Internet

Many traders trading online via internet may have face this particular issue one or the other time: Issue of internet disconnection. While trading whenever internet goes down it is really irritating.

For this issue many trades might have kept a back up connection so that whenever their default net goes down they will shift to back up. However, for a day trader/ pro trader this is also irritating: connecting to backup and again logging in to the trading system. Though this do not takes much time but traders mental condition is such that he gets irritated with this too and needs some better solution. Trader want such a solution that they can trade uniterrupted.

In order to see that I trade uninterrupted without hassle of manually connecting the backup connection I came to know about DUAL WAN routers. Many of the forum members may be aware of DUAL WAN routers. If I am not wrong then these routers are also called as load balancing router. Two different ISP connections are connected to this router, whenever one internet conenction disconnects, the other is ON and data transfer does not interupts. Thus we can say that the PC will be connected to the cyberworld even if the one interent gets DC provided the other is running. Here there is no need to manaully connect the back up connection.

However the problem here is if our trading session is IP specific then whenever the 1st net will go down, our session will expire and we have to re login in to the trading system. This is because what I feel is that whenever 1st net will go down and pc will connect via 2nd connection the PCs WAN IP will change ,& if PC wan IP changes then our session may expire if the trading system is IP specific.

I want to know that trading softwares like ODIN , PIB etc etc are IP specific??? Will this DUAL WAN router solve our traders problem or not? what can we do further to solve our connectivity problem and get better connectivity? How can we use DUAL wan routers for our problem.

Networking experts , and all those who are aware of this DUAL WAN technology concept please help on this issue.

NOTE: I am not an IT expert nor I am a networking expert. My knowledge is very very low in the field of computers and so what I have written above may not be true and I may be wrong.

how long will it take for you to remove the network cable and reconnect one more cable and login to trading account ? 2 minutes ? 1 minute ? . If you have a network breakdown every now and then , then you might consider alternatives , otherwise reconnecting the second cable once in while I think should be ok .
