see this:
http://www.apbsnl.info/2017/04/ap-bsnl-launches-three-new-stv-offering.html

(Also notice the advertisement of usb to lan, google knows what i want and they give me ads based on this. :annoyed:)

bhai, its the normal sim card.
btw since 3yrs I am using this dongle with bsnl 3g full size sim. Sim card itself is almost 8yrs old.

http://www.ebay.in/itm/152247609507

Huawei has wifi hotspot option, i think. search in amazon or flipkart.

Btw, Mtnl walon ke liye nahi hai na ye offer.? :D
I have created my old 3G mobile as hotspot in my home. At a time 3-4 devices are connected and working good. :)
BTW use adblocker chrome extension to get rid of those annoying adds from any website...

Wow !! Which mobile is it ?? I wonder if I can use my Samsung C5212 similarly.
Any 3G capable mobile can be used as hotspot but make sure its an old phone coz its battery will drain fast and battery can not be normally used after 1 or 2 months. (plugged in charging whole time when use as hotspot)
I am using my old SONY XPERIA mobile.

Re: Zerodha Part 3

Regarding technology in India now I am sure enough that we have to left the service provider
My one Airtel SIM is not porting from Delhi/ NCR Airtel to UP East Airtel circle. Why...I don't know even Airtel don't know what is happening

I am in roaming from last 2 months but MNP is not working in my number. Airtel store are not able to trace the issue and customer care.......:(
Send several emails/ calls to Airtel but nothing happened.....every time I am getting porting failure message.....:annoyed:
what to do ......don't know.....just using the number as secondary now as it was my old number.

Services are not technically capable to resolve the issue on time.

BSNL Launches Plan 444 Offers 4GB Data/Day For 90 Days

Reliance Jio has changed the dynamics of the whole telecom industry. Well this is what me & you would have thought when Jio launched its super attractive plans offering 1GB or 2G data per day along with Unlimited Calling. But now BSNL is taking stride and launching such offer that will definitely change the way data game is being played in India.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has today launched Chauka 444 Plan offering 4 GB data per day. Yes, you read it right, its 4 GB data daily, 1 GB more than its Triple Ace 333 Plan and 2 GB more data daily than its Nehle Pe Delha Plan.

The BSNL Chauka 444 Plan comes with validity of 90 days and takes the competition to the next level now. We will have to see how Jio and other operator’s respond to this offer from BSNL. This BSNL 444 STV would be available from 17th June, 2017.

In other news, BSNL revised its Plan 149 a couple of days ago by increasing the data from 500 MB to 1GB. Just to remind you, BSNL Plan 149 offers Unlimited BSNL to BSNL Calls. You can know the exact price in your circle on this page.

BSNL Chauka 444 Price Benefits Validity
Rs. 444 4 GB data per day 90 days

As said before in this thread, was already using stv 333, 3gb/day plan, now they have introduced this plan..

Jio's 1gb/day plan feels costly now when compared to bsnl's.. :D

Yday saw hotstar cricket match without any buffering in bsnl.. almost 3gb was fully used for the first time..
Can't think of the same with JIO....

Today a friend of mine told me that he has subscribed to BSNL Rs. 333 plan of 3 GB per day. He is using it in Roorkee (A city in Uttarakhand). He was so miffed on the performance of this BSNL plan , that it took me few minutes to calm him down ..

He says that in last 20 days there was not a single day that he was able to use more than 50 MB of data from the allotted 3 GB. That 50 MB too was used in the loading of websites rather than opening them.. He was never able to take any speed test from this BSNL Sim ... :p

When all companies are marching forward, it seems BSNL is marching backward barring very few big cities like Vijkris pointed in his test.

:(
Most probably in big cities only it is working properly..
Today in less than three hours, used up 1.2 gb data.. speed consistently above 5Mbps.. :clapping:

From last 2-3 weeks BSNL speed is very poor. Not even able use to speed test.
